Realize What's Possible

Your Future Self is Calling

Imagine.. you're confidently living alcohol free with so much gratitude for your clear mind and healthy body.  You're experiencing joy and awe everyday all around you.  You love yourself immensely and you're living in alignment with what your body really needs to thrive.

You're aging gracefully, with confidence and ease, trusting your lifestyle is cultivating longevity for years to come.

You're Ready

To wake up loving yourself.

To have your health level up in ways you never thought possible

To feel empowered living alcohol free and still experience immense joy

You're Not Alone

I knew I was done after pickling myself during the pandemic while struggling to homeschool my two boys.  I desperately wanted to free myself from the anxiety and shame.

Inside you know

You were meant for more than another booze filled decade, you just don't know where to start

You crave  wellness

After cutting alcohol, I went on a wellness journey that balanced my hormones curing symptoms I thought were just a part of being a woman and  I healed years of damage.

Sound Familiar?

Becoming aware you need to change your relationship with alcohol is an uncomfortable place to be.  All change lives on the other side of this discomfort. You're not alone.

You're feeling shame about your drinking but can't seem to make a change.

You're drinking to cope with life's stressors only to feel more anxious and depressed than before.

You're waking up at 3am with anxiety after drinking and can't sleep.

You make promises to drink less but willpower keeps failing you

You can take a break but you feel deprived and like you're missing out

You recover from a hangover and vow to take a break but wind up drinking 3 days later

You're worried what your kids have seen and what they're learning from you

You can't find a stretch of time to take a break in your calendar and it's been a long time since you've gone without it

Don't Worry!

I've been there too.

I had no idea how much I could change. Without alcohol holding me back, I went on a healing journey of balancing my hormones, biohacking to reverse cellular damage and boost longevity.   This is possible for you too.

There's No Shame in Wanting to Take a Break from Alcohol
It Should Be Celebrated

About my coaching method

There are no labels here.  Most people shy away from confronting a change in their relationship to alcohol because they don’t want to identify as having a “problem” or be labeled, yet they still drink far more than they'd like, and spend a ton of mental energy managing alcohol and the negative effects in their lives.

I encourage you to drop any shame about exploring this and welcome a new conversation about your wellness.   The question isn't whether you NEED to stop drinking, it's...

Will you be more well without alcohol in your life?

And...

How much is alcohol holding you back from the life you want to live?

We will learn to drop the shame and use compassion, curiosity and hope to fuel us.

Because drinking has been so normalized, very few people question their drinking behavior. Everyone is doing it and it’s not until one tries to stop, that they realize what a hold it can have on you.

I know, I’ve been there!  For years I tried taking breaks from alcohol, so I could prove it to myself that I could, but I was miserable the whole time, counting the days until I could drink again, and then went right back to my same patterns.

I didn't understand yet, that I had mental cravings, believing I needed alcohol for a myriad of reasons in my life.  Most of these beliefs were built into us through decades of social conditioning and reinforced by the permissiveness of the drinking culture.

We've been sold the idea that alcohol is not only necessary for these occasions, but even responsible for the joy.

The foundation of my coaching is questioning and rewriting these beliefs that are keeping you stuck in the drinking cycle.  When you change your mind, your behavior follows and your desire to drink will fade.

Coaching Programs

HAVE SOME QUESTIONS?

Is this like AA?

This is very different than AA because I operate from the notion that there is nothing wrong with you and that you are not doomed to feel this way forever about alcohol.  This program leads with compassion for yourself, and works with your brain's neuroplasticity by changing your thoughts and beliefs about alcohol.  When you change your beliefs, you feel differently and your behavior will start to change naturally.

I'm not an alcoholic, do I still need coaching?

The term alcoholic is dated and puts the blame on the person rather than the addictive substance. If you are questioning your drinking and comparing yourself to some idea of what it means to be an "alcoholic", then perhaps you don't feel great about how alcohol is showing up in your life.  A coach can help you examine the subconscious beliefs that have you mentally craving alcohol for a variety of reasons.  Becoming aware of these is the first step towards changing how you feel about alcohol so you can then change your behavior.

What will people think if I have a coach to stop drinking?

Going alcohol free is the best form of self care there is.  This is a conversation about wellness.  I used a therapist as well as a sobriety coach for 4 months when I first started my alcohol free journey, and it's a big reason why I'm a coach today.  Change the conversation from shame to empowerment.  Kicking the alcohol habit is tough, just like dieting and starting an exercise program, but we hire coaches for those all the time.  If you're curious about making real change, I can help.

My Story

I officially gave up alcohol February 18th, 2021 after decades of "gray area" drinking.  I had no idea I had the capacity to change as much as I did.  I struggled to change my relationship with alcohol and carried a lot of shame, despite keeping up an outward appearance of having it all together.  I was a Mom of 2 young boys, athlete, and entrepreneur. I was able to accomplish so much in my life, but I relied on alcohol to get through it, and it became the daily reward for my hard work.  After a failed Dry January in 2021, I sought outside help in the form of quit lit books and a weekly sobriety coach for 4 months. I started working on my thoughts about alcohol, instead of my behavior, and it was like a switch was flipped.  Giving up alcohol for good was not my intention, but this method was so effective, I no longer had any desire to drink.  My life improved and expanded in so many positive ways, I felt compelled to help others do the same.  I decided to pursue becoming an alcohol free life coach focused on helping people find freedom in their relationship to alcohol.  After 6 months of transformational training, I received my coaching certification with This Naked Mind Institute.  It's the most meaningful and impactful work I've ever done and I'm just getting started.  Now, when I look at my two boys, I know that the best thing I've ever done for them is give up alcohol and set an example of facing life's challenges without numbing them.  I believe in this methodology and am confident I can coach you through this pivotal moment of transformation in your life.
